Risalto for Education

Enrichment in how real product teams work: Design Thinking, Product Ownership, Agile and Prompt Engineering, practised hands-on in grades 4–9 and taken from a real user's problem to a tested prototype.

Unique enrichment in four subjects

Every student course is 10 modules of 60 minutes, once a week, and ends in a credential students earn from the work they did.

Design Thinking

Design Thinking

Students observe and interview a real user, frame a "How might we…" question, build a paper prototype and test it. They leave with a problem brief and a tested Prototype v0.

Credential: Design Thinker

Product Ownership

Intro to Product Ownership

Teams write a product vision, turn ideas into a prioritised backlog, plan a Now / Next / Later roadmap and pitch the result. They leave with Prototype v1 and a pitch.

Credential: Junior Product Owner

Agile

Intro to Agile

Teams build Prototype v2 in small increments on a visible team board, using the Agile values and roles, and teach one idea back to the class.

Credential: Agile Thinker

Agile Sprint

Teams take the roles of a real product team and run two complete sprints: planning, standups, the sprint board, review and retrospective. They leave with a sprint-board portfolio.

Credential: Sprint Teammate

Prompt Engineering

Intro to Prompt Engineering: Talking to Machines

Students write clear prompts with the Job + Task + Details recipe, fix prompts that miss and check answers before trusting them, from pre-written AI examples. No student uses an AI account or a live model.

Credential: AI Explorer

Offered alongside

Digital Literacy: Smart, Safe & Creative Online

Students work through their own digital lives, staying safe online, judging information and media, and creating responsibly, and finish with a digital-citizenship PSA.

Credential: Digital Citizen

Agile Sprint Facilitation

Professional development for teachers: an introduction to Agile, with ideas for using it in the classroom as a framework for group projects, which usually come with no way for a group to work together. It closes with a practice lab the teacher runs themselves.

Credential: Agile Sprint Facilitator

Who is behind it

Risalto for Education comes from The Trevi Product Group, which brings decades of US tech-industry experience from VMware, Google Cloud, SAP and Apple. That includes experience launching two industry credential programs: VMware Certified Professional and Google Cloud Certified. The skills these courses teach are the ones real tech teams use, and their credentials are designed by people who built industry certification programs.

How a module runs

  1. A warm-up to bring the class together
  2. A short Risalto lesson and quick check, projected for the whole class
  3. A timed "fun moment"
  4. Hands-on team practice, led by the teacher, mostly unplugged
  5. A wrap-up
  • Each module comes with a teacher guide, a printable worksheet and an optional projected lab.
  • Each course runs in three grade bands (4–5, 6–7 and 8–9), taught as separate classes.
  • At most 20 students per adult, delivered on your campus, inside your program.
  • No student devices or accounts; class totals only.
